Welcome to the website of Henry Rose, Master Tailor. In a world dominated by the fashionable and the ephemeral, Henry Rose is the epitome of classic and timeless style.
Henry is based in a studio at 15 Cecil Court at the heart of London's West End. This basement space is amid first-edition booksellers, historic print and postcard traders, and specialist collectors' outlets, so he is surrounded by heritage befitting a master craftsman following his stint at Selfridges where he was bespoke tailor in residence.
Henry is also in good company as part of the book "The London Cut - Savile Row Bespoke Tailoring" by James Sherwood. This is a portrait of Savile Row and contains conversations with the tailors and images of Savile Row, past and present.
"I've been doing this for the past 46 yrs. For me, tailoring is not just a job, it's a passion. I am transforming something two dimensional and inanimate into a three dimensional suit that lives and walks with my client. It's a bit like being a sculptor."
